OK, are we moving the date or not?
I don't mind going both days, but we need enough vehicles to make it worthwile.

I need some confirmation please, we have to organise permits.

Allan 28th better for me, but could still try and make this weekend... Thys and Sidekick dont appear to be making either. Stu is out for this weekend....

1. Hoppy
2. Nugget
3. Carlo
4.
5. Shaun
6. Stekel
7. Sarel
8.
9. truckin (y not)
10. Johann (3 Blind monkeys)
11. Leandro.
12. Herman.
13. Val (whatever weekend is decided)

Who is going to get the permits? I think Thys suggested that the latest is Thursday for permits, not sure why not Friday, but if there is no response then by default it will have to be 28th.. I definitely won't be able to get the permits, don't have enough time to go all the way from Strand to town, between hospital visits and the rest of my commitments..

The only reason why I suggest permits to be picked up on Thursdays is that it is quite a labour intensive process, especially if you have to get a lot of permits. On Fridays they are usually quite busy, because everybody else who wants to go to the dunes on the weekend waits until the last minute, and then poor Chantelle gets very overworked. Also, I cannot afford to hang around in town for hours waiting for the permits, I need to do a quick hit and run.

Has the date been moved or not? I have made arrangements to go this weekend and have family joining us on Sunday at the dunes.

I need to know if I must cancel with them or not.

Count me out on the 28th as I am busy writing exams.

Being a Toyota forum I will post pics accordingly.

It was definately one of the best Atlantis days I've had. Wish there where more forum guys present (sfa or ifs)
Next time thinking of a sleepover in the dunes, don't know if it's allowed but found a spot which could be perfect for that. It's nice and close to home and you're not away for the whole weekend. Go saturday afternoon 15h00 and back home sunday morning 11h00.

Not allowed and should never be mentioned on an open forum.....discussions about the illegality of such actions should be held behind closed doors, preferably in an underground bunker.....
