Jeepie, it is a Diesel so it already has fuel injection. Jy moet focus hier...
Welcome to the forum.
You have the 2L motor which is not known for its speed. I had the 2L-TE motor which was exactly the same as yours except it had electronic fuel management as well as the Turbo. Fitting a turbo could be an option for you but I would not put my hopes on it too much. Question for you, what do you want to do with it? Daily driver or play? How much do you want to spend?

Re: 1994 Hilux 2.4D 4x4

Bear in mind though that diesel is not built for speed but for torque, though I know the D-4D's are quick, hence you never get a truck with a petrol engine, just my 2c worth

Re: 1994 Hilux 2.4D 4x4

"Thats what I said"
Die 3.0 DE Hilux bakkie, was soos die 3.0 KZ- TE Hilux Bakkie. Maar sonder 'n Turbo, en ander enjin. Het dit net seker te kort geskryf.
Maar jammer manne, 5L was by vere beter as die 3L.
As jou verkoeling reg is, is daai 3L of 5L baie betroubaar.

Thabo, ekt nooit gesê dis dieselfde enjin/blok nie.
