Supercharger Kit for 2.7 VVTI

HI Guys

Ive got a 2007 Hilux D/C which i want to have supercharged.

Has anyone got any suggestions where is teh best place to have this done or if theres any bolt on kits available.

Has anyone done a conversion like this and can provide some info on the pros and cons.

But why?

Rather sell and buy the V6?

If you think about it, the moment you install the supercharger, the secondhand value of your truck drops with at least 60%. Very few people will buy a vehicle with such extreme modifications.

Secondly, there are always teething problem with setups like this.

I would rather buy a standard V6, have enough power and even 4x4!

Search Alpine developments on the forum, IIRC someone lost a Prado motor after they tinkered with it?

I did considera V6,but problem is they only available in automatic

You make it sound like an auto is bad?;)

The older V6's here available in manual, me think before 2009?

Please tell me your dislike in auto's, I personally enjoy auto's very much!

As long as i have the use of two legs and two arms, i'll drive a manual, but must say the V6 auto's are nice, well sorted and lively gearbox and the fuel consumption is much the same as the manual and no clutch problems

Dont get e wrong guys,the auto is a great drive.Its just a matter of personal preference,especially when you want to get the Lux tail happy,if you know what i mean

Ek het 2 weke trug n V6 motor gekoop weet nou nog nie of hy AT of Manual is nie maar het n manual gearbox aan hom vas gebout :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :surrender: :surrender:
