GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR engine mounting!

Bust a engine mounting yesterday, where can I get stronger ones for my frod V6? the rubber just disintegrated. I realised it was the engine mount as soon as the fan hit the shroud rrrrrrrrrggggrrrrrrr!

It's the allergic reaction the Hilux get's from the Ford engine

no, just the engine mountings get allergic.. We used some kind of serious engine mountings on my truck, Not the original Ford v6 or the original Toyota ones. Hoppy will be able to tell you exactly what he did there, and they held on no matter what.. And I drove it like it was stolen... :shock: :shock: :twisted: :twisted:

Hi, that motor in boggom (kaspaas's daddy) used std 40mm thick round ford mounts wich busted on a regular basis, we eventually strapped them with safety belts that solved the problem, but when i built the motor over into boggom, i used Hilux 4y mounts with the std steel shrouds that prevents them from comming appart even if they tear.
