So I have had a few people asking me lately what the Tuff Winch is like as they selling cheap. Has anyone had one or heard anything about them?

Not sure where its from. Just had a friend asking me. Said he found it on gumtree brand new 12000lb for close to 4k

I understand the most common point of failure for these cheap winches is the solenoid box so if you are in trouble and it does not want to work you should get by with a propper set of jumper leads... you just need to bride the armature winding to the field winding and the other field winding terminal to your battery then you go... i know i know you should keep far away etc but this is emergency procedures...
