Blomma, ek het vandag die 2 turbotjies gaan haal. Moet se die T72's is bietjie groter as wat ek gedink het.

Is jy seker hulle sal pas? Ek het toe besluit om ook die ballbearing tipe te vat - aansienlik duurder, maar Logan reken ons behoort baie maklik tussen 600 en 700 perde te stoot op so 0.8bar. Logan wil natuurlik met alle mag forged pistons en conrods aan my verkoop, want hy reken as ons die turbo's op so 1.5 bar loop is dit nog steeds betroubaar en sal ons ver oor 'n 1000 perde stoot!

Wat dink jy? Ek hoor my Marlin Crawler het ook vandag daar by jou aangeland?

As an Installer of Electronic Security Systems (So called uncrackable Rolling Codes etc..)

I know "one or two" back doors in

Young Bennie (Bulldog Coverter of note) and I had a "long chat" on the subject

Some Free advice:

1. 3mm (minimum) Steel wall linings are the only defence worth considering

2. Good old manual locks and keys

Sorry, ouens! I had a bit of a long weekend. The Lux Is slowly coming along (perfection takes time...

) Blommie is on holiday now, so no more work for a while, but hopefully once he's back we would have found the right engine and can continue.

Eric, the whole engine bay was painted Satin Black, purely because I want to highlight the engine! (And then I can also take my time to decide which color to paint my baby!

)
(And by the way, NO Toy engine leaks oil! :evil: )

I will try to load some foudies later today, but can't guarantee Vodacom will let me... :evil:

I tried to upload some pics again today, but Vodacom won't let me. :evil: And to think I paid the bastards R1000 last month, because I used 500Mb more, but my Usage says I used less than half my allocated 1Gb! :evil: :evil:

Anyway, belowe om more die ADSL te try! :roll:

Die enjin is in, enjin mounts is gebou
dual transfers is in en nuwe crosmember is gebou, en in
rear suspention is in en getack(sal vandag alles weld)hy staan nou op sy eie wiele Johan!!!!!!

dan alles weer strip en paint, pasivate, powdercoat en assemble

ek sal pics laai as alles klaar en netjies is ek is seker niemand stel belang in halfklaar job nie
nog so paar dae dan is ons daar

just made the new petrol tank(cardboard)
looks like we wil get 54 liters off go juice in the primary tank
tucked up nice and "clean"
wil put fittings for the "long range" tank ass well
wil drop at Ryan tomorrow wil most probably have by the end off the week

Cool, Blomma! I ordered a new clutch fork from Toyota today (only R250

) and will get it tomorrow (We think the spring got lost during the passivation process and Toy only sells the complete fork

).

I'm trying to upload the new pics, but it is in bmp format and the forum doesn't want to upload it. How do I convert to jpg?

Blom I must also get the pictures you took of the painted and cleaned up engine to post here.

Anyway, as you can see that is the new Crawler Gears from Trail Gear in the USA installed. Below is the new bellhousing and modified OME leafsprings ,and the Lexus V8 in mock up...

We have since cleaned up the motor, gearbox, transfer case and underbody and should be reinstalling everything for the final time this weekend. The Microtec should also be arriving any day now. I bought Water temp, Oil Pressure and Volt gauges that will be going into a nice A-pillar pod to monitor everything under the hood. The end is slowly drawing near... but then I think of more things I want to do!

I will post the new pics once I get them from Blom.
