 The NSRI 8 ) event is a week away and excitement is building.  :shifty:

Today as one of the organisers, I have the privilege to go and drive the new course with my newly  acquired 2008 ( Ok Ok it's new to me.) Hilux D4D (named vlerkmuis), the Landcruiser club and some of my fellow NSRI buddies.

It was raining all night, so it wil make the course interresting as I'm not sure if the rain is a good or a bad thing on the dune sand.

It should make the sand more compact, but will it stick to the wheels and lessen the traction?

My previous vehicle, a 98 Prado made it a fun drive, so my "build-up" Hilux should make it even more fun.

I will post some photos of our "fun" day as for next week when the rest of you show up :D: , I have to be the working man at the event.

I will post some foties later. Unfortunately, their will be no foties of the Toyota pulling out a Tata (soory meant to say a Landrover  ) as it will be allmost an all Toyota drive today.
At least my friend that is going with today is a Tata (sorry slip of the fingers :silent:) man, so maybe I can convert him.

We are going at 11h30. I know about one Hilux and one antique Willys in my group but not sure what else to expect.
