This private game reserve is situated about 25 km east north east from the outskirts of Gonubie and because of it's close proximity makes it ideal for a day outing. There is a restaurant on site and they offer weekend packages as well. See their newsletter link below for further details.

Yes, a couple of times .... right from when they were first starting off .. (at a guess about 11 yrs ago) .... it's changed a lot since then .... more game varieties and their accommodations have improved a lot too ... got some really nice bush camps built into vantage points with little decks that you can sit and check out the natural unspoiled countryside and game ... you'd need a decent 10 power binoc's at least. I should go again sometime and see what's changed ... last time was just over 2 yrs ago. :problem: ... :D:

Always under our seats!!! actually on Saturday while driving past Bosvark on my way home, I spotted a nice looking bird(feathered type....) approx 100m off the road in a tree. So I pulled over and low and behold what looked like a falcon was an African Grey. After 45 mins of 'mooipraat' it eventually decided to fly off.....damm1

So if anyone on the West Rand is looking for their parrot it's in the Bosvark area....
