If I fit a lexus motor and want to keep the autobox, I beleive the transfer case from the lux can be made to fit.
My question: what control unit do you use for the autobox? the OE Lexus one?
if so where do you get one, all the boxes I have found dont have control units
suggestions anyone?
Rick

Rick,
When fitting auto box from a lexus you will need to fit either a Dictaor ECU to run the engine and then link it up with a dictator gearbox controller or go the spitronics Route of ECU & gearbox controller.
The original gearbox controler wont be much use if you cant get the standard ecu & Wiring harness to make it fit & Work in your SFA. Also this route ill cost you more than the other 2 options that I have mentioned above.

Thanks Toro
I know of the engine management systems but wasn't aware of a gearbox unit.
do you use 2 dictator units or does the one unit have the ability to control the EMS and the Autobox?

Rick, you integrate the EMS & Controller with settings and the EMU controls the gearbox settings. Hope it helps.

Do yourself a favour and get the Spitronics engine and gearbox management. They've been doing lex's for years...

thanks for the advise guys
BTW: who supplies spittronics?
I've only ever used GoTech
...dont worry, I found them
http://www.spitronics.co.za" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - looks very interesting and specific references to Lexus, which is always good
