Wie van julle het julle lisensies gekry sedert Junie/Julie 2009? Het vandag gaan uitvind myne le al vir n jaar en sewe maande nog steeds in Kuruman,het nog niks gevorder nie,eks al so moeg gewag.

ek wtie meer nie.

Myne Aug 2010 ingegee (nuwe lisensies) en my bevoegdheid is nou deur, wag vir lisensies, verstaan die hernuwing gaan eers eendag afgehandel word as die daar n sneltrein tussen Kaapstad en Kairo loop

My 9mm CZ is afgekeeur maar my .338 , 7x64 em 9.3x62 is goedgekeur.

Ja mense dis maar n hartseer saak die,mens moet seke maar geduldig,myne is ook n nuwe aansoek,het n 223 voere by my pa gekry en 6,35 baby browning by my tannie,ek hoop maar vir die beste!!

Ek het seker so twee jaar gewag, vir my lisensie, dus belaglik
My 9mm 288 pistool het ek al seker al 15 jaar, ek stof hom maar af en toe af, verder slaap hy in my kluis, eendag is eendag dan word hy miskien gebruik.

Het ook so 2 jaar gewag om die kaartjie te kry alhoewel dit 18 maande voor dit al goedgekeur was. SAP time

Toe ek vir die 2 seuns .22's gekoop het, was lisensies net so probleem. Onsukses vol op my naam en ook op Anita se naam, het dit toe op die plaas se naam gesit en 3maande later lisensies gekry

Ek was van die eerstes wat moes gaan vir hernuwing

Kan nie onthou watse jaar dit was nie . Het 5 maande gevat het ALS
terselfde tyd gekry .

As dit 'n herlisensieering is kan jy die wapen nogsteeds gebruik, die ou lisensie bly geldig totdat die nuwe lisensie en apel proses afgehandel is.

Ek weet ook dat nuwe lisensies voorkeur kry bo herlisensieerings aangesien die ou lisensie steeds geldig is.
Ek van mense wat in Oktober 2010 aansoek gedoen het vir nuwe lisensies en dit al in Februarie gekry het so daar is hoop

Have any of you had the police come to inspect your safe??

I applied about 2 years ago, havent heard a thing, not too bothered either, technically my old licence is still valid

Yes, they did that abou 10 months after the application

Hulle het gister my kluis (my pa se kluis,ek bly nog by hom) kom inpekteer.na my aansoek n 1 jaar en 7 maande trug in is,ek moet maar net geduldig wees.Wat snaaks is my neef het 3 jaar trug vir sy .22 hornet aansoek gedoen en binne n jaar sy lisensie gekry,ook hier in Kuruman.

What they do nowadays...well in my case, they called me and requested me to bring pics of my safe inside and out. Then have em developed and drop em off....

3 years for me and wife.
Mark same with my sister. They phoned her and told her to bring the pick's in. She told them that she was not going to pay for the photos and she don't have the time to do it. Waiting since 2006 when i did my application. Passed and approved etc. got competancy card but not licence. Keep getting told to come check another day or we will contact you.

maybe my attitude is wrong!

however with all the pending court cases, and the back log, and all the BS going on behind the scenes
me just waiting for them to contact me!!
my cell number has changed, however not my address!!

believe Martin wood just won another case against SAPS!!
mean time still have my old existing licenses!!

self dont believe that the situation will improve anytime soon!!

believe the situation will persist for quiet some time to come!! :evil:

Do yourselves a HUGE favour. Phone 012 353 6111 and find out the status of your licenses and competences.

I've been collecting some of my stuff all over the East Rand at more than one SAPS Station. And there are 1000's of licenses lying waiting to be collected. My one license was showing on the system as approved but not printed and I found it by accident while going through the box of waiting license cards.

Mark is one of the lucky few that has been notified.

...........do not trust the system, check it for yourself.

Alternatively go and see your local DFO and let them check for you while you are there.

Julle moet by Sa Jagters vereniging aansluit, hulle het mense wat mens help met die dinge.

Soos wat ek nou verstaan moet hulle die Back lock inhaal en dan mag 'n wapen lisensie aansoek nie meer langer as 3maande vat nie.

Het al daardie lidmaatskappe en het toegewyde jagterstatus en toegewyde sportskutstatus en my aansoeke is voltooi deur Martin Hood, en al my aansoeke is endoseer deur SA Jagters, CHASA, PHASA, National Shooting Association, SA Wingshooters, SA Handwapenjagters en my klub. En steeds is my oudste aansoek 4.5jaar gelede gedoen.

Daar is beslis geen metodologie nie.

Daai hofsaak van die afgelope week gee hulle 4 maande om in te haal. Hulle druk tans glo die lisensies wat Feb 2011 goedgekeur is. Hofsaak is gewen deur Martin Hood en die Privaat Sekuriteits bedryf.

Ek het by Durbanvile aansoek gedoen en net goeie diens gekry by Insp. v.d Westhuizen. Ek het reeds n compatensie gehad en dit het my 3 maande se gewag gevat vir my nuwe lisensie. Die Kuruman manne , dit is die polisie stasie wat julle rond neuk , nie Pretoria nie. Die nuwe aansoeke word te hand opgery Pretoria toe deur jou hoofkantoor in jou aria. Hier in die Kaap word dit een keer n maand gedoen. As ek jy was het ek na my Kuruman SAP gegaan en met die stasiebevelvoer gaan praat. Moenie net harregat wees nie , offer om te help en vra wat jy kan doen om te help. Ek en my DPO het die forms saam ingevul ( nadat ek n lang motivering self getik het) en hy het dit 3 dae later by hoofkantoor gehad waarna hulle dit Pretoria toe geneem het.

Wag al drie jaar vir my .40 s&w glock en my .22 se lisensies. My Pa het in laas week n sms gekry van die SAPD om hom in kennis te stel dat sy bevoegtheid goedgekeur is. Hy het so 2 jaar terug aansoek gedoen.

Ek verstaan ook nie die storie nie,ekt nog nie my bevoegdheids kaartjie gekry nie,weet nie of dit nou my bevoegdheid is wat nou goed gekeur is nie,die goed maak my deurmakaar.Het ook nie n oproep of sms gekry nie.

Het my bevoegdheids kaartjie ontvang so 2 weke terug....nadat hulle die na 'n 'ander' stasie toe gestuur het. Nou die licence......
