Guys and Gals,

We need your help this year and it has confirmed that another record will be attempted - 600 cruisers to commemorate the 60th birthday of Cruisers.

Since (nearly) all of the Slaapstad Lux members were involved, we need to learn something from you and also need to get some guidelines. I will find out who from our club is appointed down in the Cape (maybe some know already) and then we need to start organise.

It's going to be AWESOME and this year I am not missing out again. If it is with-in my power, I will be seeing ya falla's down there

Hennie, you need Hilux recovery vehicles, good place to start...

Won't need Hilux recovery vehicles - they won't be participating.......no need to recover them :-)

Hennie the LCCSA and 4WDCSA Western Cape were the main organisers of the Hilux40 event, so they should be well experienced in organising an event of this magnitude. BUT we'll be more than willing to return the favour and help them out.

You should try to go for the Guiness world record, they have a set of rules you need to follow, the cruiser guys helped us out, we will return the favour.

Thanks Allan - we appreciate and just for what it's worth - plenty Hilux members on the Cruiser club - must the 3 ovals that joins us by the hip :-)
