Hi Im Liam
When I was four my father brought home his first Hilux, it was a red single cab bohemeth with what I think must have been an OME fitted as I couldn't reach the tail gate when it was pulled down-this may also have been due to my height! When I saw it I knew that one day when I grew up I would have one of these.
Unfortunately his company soon replaced the hilux with an Isuzu and a few years later another Isuzu he always complained that the Isuzu just wasnt the same as his red Hiux. In 1994 he got a new red double cab 2.2 FSA (nick named the Kalahari Ferrari) which took us on literally scores of holidays without much trouble of course and 4 years ago he got the SRX and was meant to trade in the FSA against it, since then the SRX has become the holiday vehicle of choice for him and the old lady.
The FSA-well he cant give away his Kalahari Ferrari, she's still parked in the garage!
After 24 years of dreaming about my own Hilux I have finally found the perfect vehicle for my needs! 2 weeks ago I bought a 2007 4.0 4x4 with very low mileage on the clock from Honeydew Toyota. It lives up to every expectation of what I wanted a Hilux to be!
I know that this vehicle, I've called it "Beast", will take my fiance and myself faithfully on many adventures in the future, and I can't wait!
I haven't yet got many pics of Beast but I will post in the future when I do.

Re: Hi Im Liam
Welcome aboard, Liam!! .
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
