Ek het in Augustus vir my Garmin se Mapsource afgelaai by die huis. Kan nie onthou of ek daarvoor betaal het of nie. Die probleem is, ek kry nie die "links" nie - is seker ek het dit hier op die Forum gekry. Ek wil dit nou op my labtop aflaai terwyl ek op vakansie is. Kan iemand my dalk in die regte rigting wys

If you have already downloaded them you can log in to the Garmin website with your GPS serial number & password & retrieve them.

Louis, if you want to install Mapsource on a Laptop that does not yet have an older version on it, refer this page and do EXACTLY as they say, otherwise Mapsource will not install.

1. Download MapSource software updater from Garmin. The version as of December 4, 2007 is 6.13.6, and the trick also works on Map Source version 6.13.5.

2. Unpack or extract the content of MapSource_6136.exe
downloaded using WinRAR.

3. From the extracted files, run MAIN.msi or MSMAIN.msi.

4. Then, run Setup.exe.

Note: The sequence to execute Main.msi and then Setup.exe is important to avoid “Previous MapSource not found!” error.

Garmin MapSource now installed.

Thanks everybody. We are currently in a low cellphone reception area. I followed Oom Eric's route and downloaded WinRAR - had Mapsource already downloaded and it is working now.
