Hi Guys,

Know you okes are the perfect ones to ask :)

I need some advice as I want to buy a canvas gazebo - a 3x3 one will work perfectly. I need it to as waterproof as possible as I want to bolt it down and leave it setup for quite a period. Also thinking of getting 2 or 3 side-panels for it.

First thought that came to mind is Campmaster but I am getting the impression that they are not that waterproof.

Will appreciate your input.

BArtho, I have a campmaster with a PVC covering. It comes with two sides. It has given me good service over the years.

Look at OZTent gazebo's. They are a few bucks more but excellent quality.

The OZTent Deluxe Gazebo seems to be retailing for about R2 300 - excluding side-panels.
They do also mention that it is perfect for back-yards.

Is this an average price or where do you suggest I shop for it?

I guess I am willing to spend up to about R3 000 so it does seems that it will be within my budget for it.

I have a howling moon canvas gazebo, and you can get all the sides to go with it... What I love about it, is it has the lightweight poles unlike my other two... Quite strong, but not baboon proof... the rip everything up...

Tentco have some as well but they are the ones with the steel poles that you have to fit together so it's not quick to erect. However it is waterproof and strong unlike the campmaster ones.

That is a very good price - R2 918, 69 - maybe another R150 discount :)
Then I suppose delivery could be another R150 - R200

Tentco just came back with a price of R3 350.
