There was an insert on SABC last night on a nature program called 50/50 about the upcoming Rhinose day planned for October 2012.

Seeing as that there is a Hilux on their website, should we not get involved? R30 is not too much to ask - even with the ever increasing fuel price

I see one has to order and buy from CNA. Bulk orders get shipped to the specific CNA where it's ordered free or charge. In that regards, it doesn't make sense for the club to make a bulk purchase where everyone could just go to their local CNA and purchase their horns.

What could happen though is that the club could make a donation / order and hand out the horns. m2cw

I agree Cassie. We should purchase them and maby post a pic of our vehicles with them on an post them here. Handing them out sounds like a good idea be where do we hand them out?

Okay...so eventually our CNA got stock so we bought on for each vehicle.

I though I would do something different with my daily runner....
Drove 130km/h on the highway today and it held fast... and it most definitely is creating awareness as I got quite a lot of stares and questions. I know it might look tappet but at least it's noticeable and hopefully create just the little bit more awareness

PS: Wasn't home this weekend so I could wash the "loopring"

We're on day 318 for the year. That equats to almost 2 Rhinos a day

I don't know if it is just me, but it seems that there is not very much marketing being done around this? I only saw one little insert (I think it was on SABCs 50/50) otherwise nothing??

No I totaly agree. I would not have known about it unless it was not posted here. I have only seen 2 other vehicles on the road with them on besides 4x4Maniac and Jeepie... its dassapointing... :evil:

I did however see it being advertised in the latest CNA brochure.

There will be an item on E-TV tonight (Tuesday) on Rhinos, but beware if you are of a sensitive nature. They showed an excerpt of the program on the news a couple of days ago and it made my blood boil. Third Degree starts at 21:30.

This horn really gave a lot of people a lot of pleasure at the Fun Day. Everybody had comments about it (ranging from mild to xxx-rated) and just about everybody wanted to touch it...
