had something similar on my other tab with certain sites, that being the jeep forum, however there I wasn't the only one complaining.

sadly don't know how to fix it besides on mozila selecting the option of block pop up

On Internet explorer go to
Tools
Internet Options
Advanced
the click Restore Advanced Settings and
Reset - Select Select personal Settings as well

That will reomve any toolbars and anything else that has been installed

Other than that download a trial antivirus, install and run (recomend you use Eset - http://www.nod32.co.za" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
