We now have a date and now for the venue.

Can I please have your suggestions for venues?
If you give a Town name please motivate why you suggest that venue/Town. Please keep in mind that we want to keep it as central as possible with formal and camping accommodation. There must be something to do i.e. 4x4 route and other outdoor activities.

Can you also indicate where you will be travelling from and more or less how many adults and how many children will accompany you?
Will you be camping or staying in formal accommodation.

I will take your suggestions we receive over the next two weeks and create a poll that will include the suggestions. Then we vote and we get the show on the road.

100 km from pretoria to the east, 100km from krugersdorp to the south,100km from zeerust to the west, and 120km from thabazimbi to the north......

Alhoewel ek n nuweling is:As almal Nasionaal min of meer ewe ver moet ry,hoekom nie Witsand Natuur Resevaat nie (Mountainview 4x4 Trail is daar naby) Genoeg kampeer plek as n paar chalets.Sand Surfing is die in ding.

Wel dit maak nie saak waar dit gehou word nie ons moet probeer daar wees 8) . Ek sal kamp verkies en Swambo met enkelbyter sal saamkom.

Witsand sal my natuurlik pas Ons moet egter kyk na 'n plek waar ons kan speel en die Hi luxes toets. :D Die sentraalste deel is sekerlik in Bloem area maar wat is daar....

Dra nie veel kennis van wat in Bloem is,Maar ek weet van een plek by Witsand waar mens heelwat kan leer van Sand (Duine) ry.n Friend van my Roy weet van blykbaar nog n plek ook daar naby wat heelwat weer Klipperig is. Sal bietjie meer info try kry gaan kyk gerus .www.witsandkalahari.co.za/

Hoeveel keer mag ons n plek voorstel ? Ons het ‘n voorstel om te maak, of nee eerder 4 voorstelle… Witsand, of ………witsand………of witsand…….. of nee, om dit vir almal makliker te maak, wat van WITSAND????? Dis ‘n amazing plek.
Die plan is om weer in Siptember met die Richtersveld trip daar te gaan draai . Sal dit dan ook in n trip report saam stel en terugvoer gee ,Maar soos ek reeds gese het.

Hulle hou dit gewoonlik oor paas-naweek maar nie noodwendig nie. Dit is wel altyd in April. Dit sal eintlik lekker wees as meer van ons forum mens ook in die Reg Raid kom deelneem want daai is nou vir jou great fun :)

Korannaberge is about 130km East of Bloemfontein.

There are 3 farms all together here. Each has a 4x4 route, and all have varing degrees of difficulty. I have stayed at Koranna Wegbreek, and they have chalets and camping, with a lapa large enough to cater for around 50 odd people.

This is a beautiful part of our country.

Those that want to take a long break over the school holidays can venture further on towards Golden Gate. There are numerous other trails along the way. We could then also do an extended trip through Lesotho for those that are keen.

Volgens my is almal welkom wat 'n lid is op die site.. deep down weet ek jou jy is 'n Toyota/Lexus fan

Ja stinkafrikanertjie, jy en daai Boesman is welkom, al het jy hom te lank op die spin-cycle gehad, ek sien sy body het gekrimp en sy arms steek ver by die moue uit...

Koranna berge is great. Ek het 'n 4x4 opleidings naweek daar gedoen en die plek is fantasties en lekker vir 4x4. As ek reg onthou is dit omtrend so 100km vanaf Bloem op van Zoelenshoek plaas.

Witsand is gelee omtrent 80km vanaf Olifantshoek en omtrent 130km vanaf Upington. Dis ook 'n lekker plek en daar is darem so bietjie sand om te ry ook.

I am confused here now (scratch head) is this event for all 4x4 vehicle's that our members drive on this web site, if this is the case, I recon that we must then invite our Dustbin friend and then let us guys with real Hilux 4x4's show him how things are done, but have it open to all Road registered used 4x4 vehicle's instead, lockers, crawler gears, revolver shackles, high ground clearence and secret controls.

Agreed, in fact if you are going alone maybe I should just go with you in your monster truck then we can save on traveling costs.

Engel at least your vehicle is in the same catgory as mine, what is the ground clearence from the bottom of the diff and then also from the side of the vehicle sills to the ground, what size tires do you have fitted and what pressure do you run them off-road.
