Good day
i am in the prosess of building a cargo slider for my 1989 DC Hilux and need help please.
has anyone build just the slider floor without the drawers?
i need some plans or idees to get started.
i intend using 25 x 25 x 2mm square aluminium tube with connect it corners.
any help please??

Nardus, there should be many posts on the DIY section about this topic.
I am busy building a slide and will post some pics tonight to show my design. I don't normally build a floor as such.

Do you want the whole floor to slide?
Some guys build a frame with ball bearings, but many people use the 1.4 meter super heavy duty slides. It is far less hassle and works better.

Nardus, I agree with Pietpetoors. But you must be careful of overloading if you want to install a sliding floor which covers the floor of the loadbin. There also has to be something to support the roller slides.
