thanx ali3n ,Ali3n wrote:Thanks to all who came out and made the day special. It was great seeing some old faces as well as a few new ones. You all made the day what it was.
Thanks to Cassie and shaun for leading group 1 and thanks to Ernst for helping us out on group 2.
Thanks to Shaun who I threw into the deep end without him knowing it and leading the drivers breefing. Excellent job.
Hope to see you guys at the next one.
I fink I have determined the problem why Merlin battled....MOFASA wrote:It was an AWSUM day, THANKS to all who organised it... Well done...
We had fun in Merlin (Prado) but i must admit its not the same as the good old SFA (MOFASA)
Its qiute stressfull taking an expensive vehicle into the bush like that and I'm not planning on pushing the limits with the prado...
If the traction control was working it may have been different but I have learnt that the prado is more for OVERLANDING than trail days...
SO
If MOFASA is up and running by the next one I WILL be there....
And then we'll have a serious fun day again....
Pics will follow

Check the position of the marshal indicating the best route to follow and where the gaze of the particular driver was....
Dankie oom Dawie.
