It is raffle time again boys and girls.


So to kick off 2014 ,

4x4Assist has generously donated a R500 non-refundable gift voucher to be spent at http://www.4x4assist.co.za" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. From the ticket sales the club will add an additional R1500 towards the prize money bringing the total prize to R2000 for the lucky winner.

The closing date for this raffle will be the 28th of February 2014.
IF all 80 tickets on offer have not been sold.

Once the winner has been announced we will then confirm your details with 4x4Assist and you will be able to contact Mark Schubert directly to claim your prize.

With regards to this, I think if you pay for a ticket you should still be eligible for the prize. To make sure everything is transparent, I suggest I print out a sheet with all the numbers, this will be taken to a club event, presented to those attending, I will then cut the paper to separate the numbers, throw in a bowl and let maybe one of the children attending draw the number, in front of everyone present. This seems fair.

Besides that this is very close to my heart, I noticed that unless a topic stays on the first page (view unread posts or view new posts) that they tend to be forgotten about.

So my question/request is as follows - is there not a way to keep such topics on the first page? Not everyone trolls the forum on a daily basis (don't know why) and could miss out.

Even in it is a sticky... o a global notice.. it will only be on the top of the list in the subforum you are browsing.. not in the Unread/Active Posts .. that is unfortunately the way the forum cookie crumbles... Somebody will have to bump this thread hourly/daily..

The draw will take place this weekend at RFAD and the winner will be announced on Monday. Good luck to all.
