Like the styling on both vehicles, just the 4Runner has too much black in front - they should perhaps have colour coded the lower valence the same as the vehicle.

Tacoma (Hilux) vs 4Runner
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: Tacoma (Hilux) vs 4Runner
Both of these trucks are extremely popular in the Pacific North west of the US. I see a lot of them. The front end styling just doesn't do a lot for me personally. It seems the last few years the 4Runner has become Sequoia sized and in '05 the Tacoma about the size of the 1st Generation Tundra. That being said, a 2015 lifted 4Runner certainly does look nice
Personally I like the smaller and narrower truck and wish they would go back to their roots- straight axle, manual hubs and a lever selected transfer case
I hope to have an '01-04 double cab Tacoma in the next year or so.
That being said, I sure do miss my old 2005 TRD Double cab Tacoma. Have a lot of great memories in that truck
The 4.0 is a great engine and performs well

Don't like the look of the 4Runner. The Tocoma looks quite nice though
