Hi Guys
Is it easy enough to fit new discs and pads myself , im not a mechanic but i am technical , also will it require bleeding afterwards , i have never bled brakes before , all i know is you start at the furthest from the master cylinder.
I suspect it is brakes as i feel slight wobble under braking and more so at higher speeds.
Thanks

I'm sure you will manage. Maybe search on youtube for 'Vigo brake pad replacement'
BUT if the brakes wobble it might not be worn pads, maybe wrapped diskd?

O ja, no need to bleed brakes after a simple pad change.

first speak to guys doing on-car-brake-skimming.
possibly not needed to change the pads.
and even you need to change the pads, it may still be worth while just skimming the discs and not replacing it .... but then the skimmers could replace the pads in seconds ...

Re: Hilux 4.0 Front discs and pads
When I first bought my Vigo, it had terrible vibration at speed and to come to the disc warped conclusion, at low speeds under light braking you could feel the brakes tighten and loosen under constant placement of the pedal. Skimmed the discs and 14k km later and brakes still perfect...

If you have to bleed the brakes don,t forget to bleed the load tensioner valve as well
