New member- buying a hilux
A family friend is selling his 2010 SR5 hilux, 3L Turbo diesel, 240,000km, full service history, new timing belt, and he'll sell it to me for $15,000. Will be my daily car, with occasional offroad usage but no serious 4x4ing. Too risky with the high k's or bargain?

I am assuming you are from Australia?
Nope, I don't think so in terms of the Hilux.

Welcome to the Forum...
Seems that you getting it when it is just run in nicely...
There should be a service History if it was services by the agents...

Welcome aboard, Kade!
I'm no diesel boffin, but depending on how hard it's been ridden that mileage may be a bit high. The guys with more diesel knowledge can elaborate.

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Have your injectors checked before you buy, the KMs is not to high for a Hilux
