Please put your details down if you can assist us with this event. Also indicate if you want to camp as we will sort it out with the organisers!

Hallo Johan, dit is soos Neil se, die klub manne sal jou nie drop nie maar as jou ma Sat verjaar en tagtig word, dan is dit bietjie moeilik. Van hoelaat tot hoelaat het jy die marshalls nodig vir Saterdag. Laat weet my, dan kyk ek of ek kan help. Sondag sal nie n probleem wees nie.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the response!

If you can only make one of the days, it is fine!

I organised some Yellow Caps and Bibs with the compliments of Acrow!

When arriving please contact me on my cellphone as I will have the list of names of the marshals to confirm with the gate. Remember to use the middle gate (Tarred road!)

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the positive response!

1) Can we all be at the track (Saturday and Sunday) at say 08h00 to give us chance to familiarize ourselves with the track and to drive it! We can then do the workload distribution as well!

2) I am just putting extra names on the list to make sure that everybody that decides at the last moment to join does have a free pass!

3) When you arrive at the main gate (the one on the Vereeniging/Heidelberg Road) use the middle gate and identify yourself as a Hilux Club Marshal! (I will be at the gate with the list as well! My cell: 082 391 1402!)

4) Remember to bring sunscreen and a chair! I arranged with my employer to provide us with yellow bibs and caps to ID us on the track! Please I need the bibs back!!!

5) We will open the track on 09h00 for the public (both days) and close on 17h00 on Saturday and 15h00 on Sunday!

6) Please remember to drink sufficient water/cold drinks during the day and remember a warm jacket for the mornings as it is going to be cold! (There is plenty of stalls that sell food and drink! Please let us set the example by not allowing booze on the track while it is open! We can all go for a drink once we done for the day!)

7) Other equipment that we need to bring along:
Hammer for the mishaps with the poles!
Gumboots for those working at the mud hole!
Recovery gear: Remember most guys are novices and does not have this type of equipment! (I am trying to get a recovery set sponsored for the weekend!)
A whistle to blow if the drives start to spin out the track!
Willie you will sort out some extra banner tape?

And lastly a good sense of humor and patience! We will be required to help, coach and assist the drivers!

Finally! And I am taking this on me! For those of you that have businesses, bring along a banner of your business for some free advertising around the track!

For the campers please use Hanko Swart as reference as he booked 2 sites for us for Friday and Saturday night!

Hi Arne, nice to meet you... Had lots of conversation with you this morning but no one bothered to introduce ourselves to each other nor did Neil think it was necessary....!!

take a kazibo with if you can it may feel cool but sun is still toasty.will be there as on the whats app.
