I'm want to replace my coolantnaustem and radiator pipes of my 2005 KZ hilux.
the clamps used to secure the pipes are those fancy jobbies that require a special tool to open and remove.
I wanted to know, can I use the common hose clamps u get at a hardware store or midas to secure the pipes instead of that fancy ones the agents use.
and what is the best practice to filling the cooling system. i dont recall seeing a filler cap on my radiator and I think it's a sealed system. how do I go about this correctly?
thanks

Re: radiator pipe replacement
There must be a filler either on the engine or on the radiator.
You can just use normal hose clamps instead of the Toyota ones.

Re: radiator pipe replacement
If you have one of these pliers those are actually very good clamps.
Radiator cap must be right on top of the radiator.
