Had a quick squiz at the Members' List just now. I couldn't believe my eyes - 636 Members who have joined us (that's 50% of our current membership) have never even said "Hi!".

Come on guys, I recognised quite a few names from other fora, pop in and just say Hi, I'm so and so, and I drive a (whatever!).

Would be nice to hear from "the other half" :)

Hi Oom Blom!

For our new members, Oom Blom is the Guardian Angel representing her interests and investments in the Land or LandRovia. I was privileged in being invited to the Kingdom (Queendom?) yesterday!

Did you know the Queen's inhabitants there also eat Biltong? Now you know!

So..... where are the Silent Members?

Hi Eric, Louis Meyer from Klerksdorp. Currently driving a 2.71 D/C 4x4 (1999)
Previously drove the 3000D D/C 4x4, was disappointed after loosing the engine due to overheating without warning.
I would like to know where I can obtain the correct technical specs and workshop manual?

Hi Louis, good to have someone with common sense here! :)

The "ou manne" above are mainly blou-bul supporters and they therefore have very limited comprehension (verstandhouding vir die BB ondersteuners!)

I've got some info on the 2.7i on my computer at home, can copy over for you anytime. Just send me a PM and we'll arrange to make a copy.

:D Hi all, ... back after a 2 week break, ... the wife & I spent some time at our holiday home in the Hogsback. I tried the laptop / cellphone connection but poor network coverage and my lack of IT skills fortunately left me stranded from the forum, otherwise I may not have been here to tell the tale

Thanks Eric, and yes, the break did us good. As for Cells, there are times when I wish the tech never existed, but they're really a "lifesaver" more often than not.

Getting off the track a little, how does one delete (not edit) an incorrect posting, is it possible?

Either edit the incorrect text out, or refer the specific post in a PM to one of the Mods, who will assist you!

Thanks Eric .... it's what I was doing, just wanted to make sure there wasn't any way of removing the entire post myself without bothering the MOD's. :P
