In the latest WWF report that was provided to Cites the statement was made that poaching was on the increase (the worst level in 15 years).
Around 12 Rhinos get killed in SA and Zim per month. Other countries that is seeing an increase as well is: DRC and Nepal.
The numbers of White and Black Rhino is increasing due to breading programs and nature conservation efforts.
A report that was released indicated that 162 rhino’s were killed by poachers and 62 in the first 6 months of this year.
This is a sad state of affairs as the Asian market is apparently the main drivers behind the demand for Rhino products ……
Is the Western Cape vegetation no suitable for a rhino project?

Probably not .... might also be a little cold in winter for those big babies There must be a reason why nobody has started such a project down that way ... we have them up here ...
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
