Very nice Niel, and thanks for the link, did you camp or stay in the provided accommodation? I'm thinking of doing that trip sometime this year but not sure when is the best time to do it. I would like to drive there from Gauteng.

Re: Hilux 3.0D4D Suspension Troubles

Hi all, Andre, how long did it take for Toyota to change your tyres and shocks?. I'm also having the same problem and recently got the shock of my life on a gravel road at 80km/hr in H4 where the rear swayed terribly and almost lost control. I'd hate to feel what its like in H2. Tyres were inflated ...

Re: Recommendations for Long Range tank ?

Thank you Guys very much for the feedback, yes I would think the refuelling "occasion" is the problem but I think it will be well worth it on the long trips, it may allow me to plan better and reduce the sweat on the brow for the stretches where there are no fuel stations. and kids...

Recommendations for Long Range tank ?

Hi
I'm looking at fitting a good quality long range tank on my V6 double cab.
I see there are 65L and 61.5L, are there larger tanks and who fits them?
Any first hand experience and recommendations would be welcome, thanks!

Re: Hilux Suspension Advice - Duwayne

Hi All Also new here, and have also been investigating OME suspension for my new hilux V6, as i'm not overly excited with the standard suspension. I would like to get a little extra lift and more stability on sand roads. I got a quote yesterday from two 4x4 fitment centres and OME goes for about R16...
