just a useless note from my side : i drive my 4y and I thought it was terminal at 220 000km when it started using oil and started loosing some power. Its now on 265 000km and still the same (its like my sansui tv.... promise myself i will buy a new 42inch HD LCD when it brakes, but it just keeps on ...

i am considering respraying my hilux mags charcoal or black. Does anyone know of a place in PTA/midrand area that can do this nicely ?

ok my info bought my hilux in Jan 2000 with 169 000km on it. it now has 265 000km on it and this is what i have changed : 1. new tires on 195 000km (cost R3600) 2. replaced standard carb with weber on 210 000km after standard carb would give hassles (R500) 3. disable dual battery system 220 000km af...

ooooo makes sence... and yes i agree that the non SFA bakkies is for better drivers.... the SFA makes 4x4 driving to easy :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Nice Lux Man :P Is that a Spare Wheel/Bike rack :?: :?: Rich what will i do with a bike if i have a bakkie :D :D it's a spare wheel holder that opens up and then let the back go down. Some guys in centurion did it for me , they normally do Jeep accessories but for me they did a favour on the hilux....

ok i actually don't have a lot of pics of my bakkie so here are two

this is a 2.2 4y 1989 Dbcab with 266 000km on the clock. Everything is stall standard on it except the one or two bolt on things you will see
