How far can I drive with a front CV boot throwing grease?

Hi guys! Just arrived in Hartenbos from Jhb and noticed my front CV boot is leaking grease. How far can I drive before attending to this?

Also if anybody could recommend where to get this repaired I would appreciate it!

Thanks,

Re: DRIVELINE VIBRATION AFTER CENTER SUPPORT BEARING REPLACEMENT

I agree with you. The two shafts need to be perfectly aligned on the splines otherwise a vibration is guaranteed. Joint will also wear excessively. The actual line up of flanges on diff is of less/no importance.

Re: Vigo Load sensing valve working?

Great details here. I have fitted these larger tyres (285 70 17) recently and understand that the larger inertia will affect braking, but the problem stems from before this. Suspension is indeed raised by approx 50mm. I have an aluminium canopy and 70 liter fridge mounted permanently in the back. Br...

Vigo Load sensing valve working?

The load sensing valve on my Vigo doesn't seem to make a difference to my breaking ability. I have essentially set it up max on an extended threaded rod with no effect. Is this a common symptom or issue?

I cannot say with definitive certainty, but I think that 33's are going to catch badly. So what are the possible options to overcome the problem. As I see it, the rear should be OK with a moderate suspension lift but it's always the front that's a problem. You can only lift an IFS so far before you...
