Thanks boet! I'm gonna miss the lux but I'm sick and tired of 2x4. Should have bought a 4x4 in the first place. At least now I can participate in gatherings! Basically a straight swap for my lux. R10k difference between what I got and what I paid for the FJ!

4x4 megaworld. But I strongly suggest using your own rubbers between the clamp and the bar as the ones that come with are a fraction too thin and the spot "falls over" on hectic gravel roads

Many show specials, also many people bumping up their "store" price and claiming a "show special". Best way not to be fooled, do your homework on what gun you want, get quotes etc, and compare to show prices. Show was busy! Sukkeled to get to stalls and actually hold the gun you'...

When I first bought my Vigo, it had terrible vibration at speed and to come to the disc warped conclusion, at low speeds under light braking you could feel the brakes tighten and loosen under constant placement of the pedal. Skimmed the discs and 14k km later and brakes still perfect...

Llumar Film is one product I would recommend. I have had the 25% on all my vehicles in the past and never once had issues with scratching, bubbling, peeling etc. And it's not that annoying "blue" ish tint.

Hi guys, I need your help. The 'in laws' come from Bots, and they have a vehicle that is registered in bots, got stopped by the police near dullstroom. Apprarently the 'law has changed' and they require a triangle on the vehicle despite no towing from the vehicle??? Immediately this sparks red flags...

Sooo they say since I have lifted the Vigo 40mm,the prop is at a bigger angle and hence it's the lift causing the problem.... Anyone else experience this? They say their lifts of 30mm doesn't cause this... R4.5k to recondition the prop and replace centre bearing.

Are their views valid or b/s

Okay van is at the Stealers for the 110k km service and they will look into the shudder. Forced the guy to test drive with me so they know what it is. After many pull off's he is aware of the shudder, and will look into it. Will report when I have feedback. I hope I don't need to get the Vaseline ou...

Nee no, nein, uh uh, bad no.... I get afraid of basic Heights like hiking robberg in plett. I would literally defecate myself regardless of safety harnesses, balloons, anti-gravity ray guns etc. Nope no ways in... Would anyone catch me on that. Thanks for the anxiety trip :lol:

It was a challenge but if you press the base of the filter housing against the ground and push the top down, the ring tightens quite easily :thumright:

Okay So I am officially a Numty. So what happened was, Removed the entire fuel filter housing from the engine bay, obviously disconnecting the 2 wires and the 2 hoses (Inlet/Outlet) When I had changed the filter, put everything back and started pomping that little knoppie. Aaaand so my fuel light came on yesterday on my way home from Tonteldoos (Yes - It's an actual place...) so off to my local stealers with a tub of vaseline and credit card, I will be replacing it myself. Will try take pics so we can all do D-I-Y :D :lol:
