Fortunately, we got sorted with a secondhand one. Hopefully we will not fry it again ...

Re: Towing a ski boat and overlanding- What to choose?

The only problem I have with auto's is to drive down very steep declines, and hopefully someone can share a few tips on that. With a manual, you put it in low range first, and feather the brakes when needed. My wife's Prado has a L option on the auto, but with low range selected, it is still way to ...

Re: Towing a ski boat and overlanding- What to choose?

What about a Prado? Why do you exclude automatic gearboxes? I think the auto will make towing quite easy, and an auto in sand is only a pleasure. How to obtain a municipal evaluation?

Hi There, I am interested in acquiring a home, but would first want to know what the municipal evaluation of the property is. The estate agent could only give me a stand number (??). Is there a way that I can find out? The property is in the process of being subdivided, plans has been approved. Will...

Re: Safety belt recoil issue

I tried to get safety belts for Mufasa (1984/6 DC Hilux). I couldn't find safety belts that are exactly the same. The front ones have a small pin that goes into the body. The IFS ones does not have this pin, or the pin is not at the same place. What are the best option to replace safety belts? Will ...
