Regarding the filtration. The HP pumps rely on clean fuel to be able to build pressure. If it sucks crap your pump is destroyed. Chances of running dry are less than sucking crap. My biggest obstacle is to do the wiring for the management system... Don't laugh, but I opted for an aftermarket 30K unit, the only concern is I have to do the wiring myself. Bit of a donkey hitting his head against a wall here....

Positive 30 offset rims are going to bite you in the a$$ My rims I have are 10"wide 15" diameter and have an offset of aprox MINUS 45. They JUST miss the tie rod ends enough to fit a wheel weight without it catching. If you are going to use 8" wide rim with a positive offset then .....................

Why would your calipers be a problem with 15" rims Reinhart? It came from the factory 15"s Alot of the guys recoomend an Fj75 disc with KZTE calipers and master cylinder etc as a very good upgrade when increasing the size of the engine to something with more horses as in our case the lexus 8 pot......

Reinart, have not checked it but that is just a matter of lengthening or shortening the levers so to get the right amount of travel between shifter and gearbox lever. That is not a show stopper at all. If it does not shift enough then lengthen the lever on the shifter to get more travel. So I have ...

Have you tested it to see of it shifts the mechanical arm 100%. Might seem like a weird question but AFAIK if it is not 100% and it only partially shifts the mechanical arm (not resting on the preset positions of the box) it could get expensive real quick.

With the motor in, we did manage to get one manifold on, take note the engine was not secure with mounts, was hanging from the "olifantjie" and trollie jacks on the gearbox. One problem I see is, depending on the motors final resting place, the flanges on the back of the manifolds may be a problem, ...

So what you are saying is, get the fan assembly but then what about the fan itself, no Toyota part?
