Hi guys what can you do to upgrade a 3l v6 essex motor to the max kilowatt for every day use(warm maak)Hope to hear lots of suggestions

I am looking to purchase a new or good condition distributor red cap for my V6 1993, if anyone got one available please or where could i possibly try and get hold of one thanks

Thank you to both dogs.The only thing that i found was that the inlet manifold bolts was not tightened properly(loose),could this cause backfiring through the carburator,the timing marks on the photo is like i found it lighned up with no 1 piston at TDC so the valve timing is ok,with the inlet manif...

Thank you to all concerened.Here is what i have done so far.Changed points and condensor.changed coil +coil lead.Replaced rotor+distibuter cap.Replaced elect feul pump'.Checked fibre gear through petrol pump hole(seems fine).Took distrubuter out and found one spring loose and repaired it.Still no jo...

My Van started to jerk before servicing.
