Re: Central locking issue

If anyone is interested i had to buy the integration unit from Toyota at a cost of R2300. Fitted it myself. Not too difficult. Just a tight space. All working perfect now! Part 827300K021. BLOCK ASSY, DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION.

Re: 2010 D4D 4x4 Clutch size?

Not sure but just did mine. Mechanic said the 260mm clutch fits and works fine but the 275mm will obviously last longer and was an upgrade due to all the clutch issues that the Vigo model had.

2010 D4D 4x4 Clutch size?

Anyone know what the OD size is for a 2010 Hilux D4D 4x4 clutch? Is it a 260mm or 275mm ?

Central locking issue

My central locking suddenly started giving trouble. It only locks the door sometimes. Tried fitting a new battery in remote but still the same. Anyone had this issue or know how to fix it?

Bull Bar fitment?

Hi. Does anyone know if a ARB bull bar designed for the Legend 45 will fit a Legend 40? I have been offered one at an incredibly cheap price but don't want to strip my plastic bumper if it does not fit.

Re: Carpet protectors

Hi. I have the Takla Takmats in my Vigo. Super happy with them. They fit like a glove. Had the inside of Vigo full of mud many times and you only need to wipe them with a damp cloth. I highly recommend them. http://www.takla.co.za/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Sent from m...

Re: Diesel fuel filters

Thanks very much. I got the Racor Kit. Same price as Donaldson. Also 2 Micron. The Donaldson agents by me told me they don't do a filter for my bakkie. Think they were just no prepared to even help.

Re: Diesel fuel filters

Donaldson don't have the New P903316 kits in South Africa so going with the Racor Kit. Comes with mounting plate, all hardware, 2 filters(1 spare). Is expensive at R2120 but gotta do it. Anyone know where i can get it cheaper?

Diesel fuel filters

Just had bad news that my injector pump is badly damaged due to loads of sludge and dirt from diesel fuel tank and fuel line. It an old 1999 Hilux that never given any trouble and got 420000 on clock. Unfortunately had to have tank flushed, pump and injectors completely overhauled. Been told to fit ...

Def no MAF on my vehicle. After air filter it winds around to intake where there is a vacuum operated flap that seems to be working fine.

Fuel consumption

My 1999 Hilux 3000D 4x2 has been a great runner. No major problems. Got high mileage of 412000 and never used a drop of oil or water. All of a sudden it's using much more fuel. I had injectors serviced and valves checked but still the same. What can it be. Still start first time and motor sounds gre...
