Re: Hilux Vigo Storage Problem
Looks good Neil. Was contemplating putting the amp under the seat but then again I will be running 2 amps, 1 dedicated to door speakers and one for the sub. I think the best option for me would be a canvas cover within the canopy.

Re: Hilux Vigo Storage Problem
Will get the rear seat modified when I get my sound installation done. Problem is that the space behind the seats would be used for my amps and sub. I have seen the organiser that goes behind the rear seat. Looks good, but what happens when I have items that are bulky that needs to be put out of sig...

Hilux Vigo Storage Problem
Howzit guys I use my hilux on a daily basis and the problem is that there are no 'out of sight' storage areas where i can keep my laptop, the girlfriends shopping bags etc. I do have a canopy but do not want to tint the windows so dark that i cannot see when reversing. Was thinking of getting a canv...

Re: Diff, Gearbox, Transfercase breather Extensions
If you are standing at the left fender and looking at the diesel filter, just to the right of the filter are 2 pipes that just stop. Are these the breathers for something? One is thicker than the other and it got some sort of cap on the end of the pipes. Once I have them sorted out il have piece off...

Diff, Gearbox, Transfercase breather Extensions
Howzit guys
Does the 2007 Vigo come with breather extensions on the front diff, gearbox and transfer case?
I know that the back needs to be done before i even attempt water crossings.
Any help and pics will be helpful

Re: 2007 3.0 D4D - Catalytic Converter?
Thanks for the replies gents.
Stephan I think it would allow gasses to flow more freely and in turn your turbo will run cooler.
If I had to do a downpipe before going the chip route will there be a significant difference?

Re: 2007 3.0 D4D - Catalytic Converter?
Thanks for the welcome and reply Rian.
Would a vacuum leak have any negative effect on the turbo itself?
I have just obtained the vehicle. It was bought from a friend whom looked after it properly.
Has full service history also. vehicle has been offroad once (when beach driving was legal).

2007 3.0 D4D - Catalytic Converter?
Hello guys and ladies. I have a 2007 Hilux Raider 3.0d4d 4x4 which has 162 000km on clock. Was wondering if it has a Catalytic converter on the exhaust. Will removing the Cat make any difference in performance/fuel consumption? Also noticed when the turbo is under boost and I stop accelerating the t...
