Hilux 4x4 Forum

Something strange happened to my Aircon Setup.

When I start up my Hilux, the Aircon systems' windscreen defrost light burns, and stays alight for about two minutes and then only do I have full functionality of the whole aircon system??

Any advise before I take it to Toyota?

Hi Today I bought a GUD diesel filter, removed the filter...changed the O-ring...but the filter back....reset the warning light, started the vehicle...there is a slight very slight leak of diesel from the filter...am I over tightening the filter..or what else am I doing wrong. i have even tried the ...

Is that all..to stop it rattling...wonder who will hear it...LOL!!!

I recently bought a Legend 45 DC 4x4. Fitted a Metallian Canopy, and have two 130 AH batts in the back, each infront of the wheel arches in the back. I recently bough a set of Mellville Moon Seatcovers from DOCJ on the 4x4community site...pse call him on 013 6926942...speak to Willem..they had them on special for R3999 delivered I think...I took the charcoal colour. very happy.

Who here uses 2SO in their newer model Hiluxes/Fortuners? I have used it in my 2007 Nissan from the 1st day i bought her, new, she now has 120 000km on the clock and never have I had any problems.. So I am eager to use this in the Legend 45...but also a bit weary...therefore want to know who does us...

I recently had a Frontrunner fuel tank installed...above the spare wheel..

Question...when I refuel the vehicle...which tank fills up first? Main or auxiliary?

So...I took my bakkie to Phillipolis for a hunting trip, it has 2000km on the clock. It has a Metalian canopy on and did we tow a 6ft Venter trailer. The weight included was for two people, clothing food guns etc. On our way back we had an extra 500kg meat. Driving there and back, we used the speedo...

My Legend 45 DC has the above mentioned tires.

There is a sticker inside the drivers door that states 200bar loaded or unloaded.

Is this correct?

Pse advise...I am doing a trip shortly and will be loaded when coming back.

Has anybody here, had the Ironman 150L longe range fuel tank installed?

I am told the remove the existing tank and then fit the 150L tank.

Does it hang "lower" than the "normal" tank?

Where does on adjust the height or Horizontal setting of the headlights...my daughter's car, left hand side shines very low..

Good evening Where in your Hilux DC (2015, I am putting the year model as I do not know what the difference is in cab layout) did you mount your radio and where was/is the antenna mounted? And what is your preferred choice of radio...I currently have a Icom in my Nissan..never had any issues with it...

I have a HCDP DCDC 30 AMP charger that I want installed..

Would this affect the warranty if I have it done myself or who in Cape Town is authorised to do such an installation?

'n Pel van my ry die Dakar 2014, en hy gooi of 50 of 500..wat ookal beskikbaar is..geen probleme..ok nog nie.
