I was told its a Over Run issues with the Dastec Chip that can be disabled , mine still only comes on when driving in traffic for a bit, but on the open roads never comes on.
I need to plug mine in again when next at Ferroli to see!

Willard is a definite no-no (except if OEM fitted!) Whichever installer of batteries I have asked, has recommended Raylite silver calcium (sealed) battery, so I also fitted the largest one I could get in the battery tray. Partly because I drive a KZ and partly because I have a Pioneer 12" sub ...

Not sure of the D4D model, but in my KZTE I had a similar issues, behind the cubbyhole should be a yellow airbag connector, unplug and check all is ok then reconnect, this has helped a few with the similar issues on the IFS model.

Like any car it will have its problems if its been drilled, and decent KZs are scares, but if you find a goodie, and treat it well, it will look after you in return, 5 years with my KZ and loving it!

Hi JammeX I have a 2003 Hilux 2.7 and experience exactly the same. When slow braking in town I sometimes feel a slight shudder of the brake pedal. Front break pads were replaced 4000km ago. I know this is not my first post on this topic, but I am still battling with my ABS problem. We have cleaned & checked all the sensors etc cleared the fault codes, but on breaking at under 10km/h the brake pedal makes a very strange noise and jerks around :( I have disconnected one if my sensors...

Got my KZ on 135 000km had Chip and Intercooler from SAC already. Now on 210 000km - Had to replace ECU (R2000) + Clutch (R3500) and a few minor little things. Service every 7500Km and Still Running Like a Dream. ABS is my only issue, i think the pump if bust as it makes my break pedal shudder when ...

I will try shop around for some Coopers and see what deals I can find, OBV Cooper to me over the KL71's but I was under the impression they cost a lot more.

Right found a place that has 25mm at R28.40 pm ex vat but its all BLUE Cable.
They have recommended Panel Wire which is the same thing, that they have in Red and Black 25mm @ R33.85 ex vat

Not sure at this stage if I want more, the van flies as it is, this is standard boost, but better map. I think every Dyno is different, infact I know this, SAC would prob give me 120Kw reading haha, (never trust that dyno).
