best solution is to get a better pump but in the meantime you will have no issues running it on the bypass circuit at full pressure. It will just not last as long as normal

If the turbo has gone it will not smoke. It will only have no power. ECU will not add fuel if no boost is detected so no smoke if turbo gone. Only pre ECU models will smoke.

Check your shackle bush rubbers on on all the springs.
Check your bottle jack is securely placed in its holder!

Also make sure the brandy bottle behind the seat is secured

Check oil pressure with mechanical gauge to confirm actual oil pressure.
Your oil sender unit may be faulty. Not uncommon.

You should have done that even before you replaced the oil pump!

I used a corolla fuel tank holder and will never use anything else for a lexus, the 4zz motor even uses the same fuel pump as oem lexus pump.

This sounds like a earthing problem. My suggestion would be to run a new earth strap straight from the battery to the block of the engine.
If the earth is bad or periodically bad then it tends to bugger up the electronics like in your case.

Regarding fitting in tank fuel pump, look at my thread where I fitted it into the tank , all OEM, except the adaptor to fit the canister

Seriously, you do not need to worry about the turbo whistle! Some do and some don't.
The other noise....not sure what you mean! could be a dry clutch fork could be thrust bearing. Dont have enough to go on.

Here is another wild thought for you. Is the radiator new or refurbished? Had a case once when a cruiser kept overheating after it broke the fan belt. Let them show you the old parts that came out to ensure they did fit new, but would you know if the parts they showed you were yours!.
Your best bet is to get a second opinion if you are not tech wize. Get a good engine rebuilder to go with you to check before they re-assemble!

They are identical engines with the 3uz having more power and 300 cc more displacement. At current prices I would take the 3uz any day. I have the 1uz vvti currently.

When you have a second fuel tank then the volume of fuel is to big to be handled by the system and you will get fumes escaping on a hot day. Common problem when longrange tanks are fitted and an even bigger issue if fitted to a bakkie that is open. The sun bakes the back of the bakkie, heat transfer...

If there are no high spots or grooves from the rivets on the flywheel it is best left alone. Everytime you skim the flywheel you bugger up the balance. May lead to vibrations and bearing damage.

Common problem with newer cruisers, The LED option will solve your problem. Dont fit LED to all indicator fittings otherwise the indicator unit does not have enough resistance and will then start blinking at triple speed. I cant see how a rack and pinion will be strong enough to handle that SFA. I may be wrong but I would not try it.

Why do you want to change it, dont you have power steering?
