4y running on two cylinders

So my 4y decided it wants to give me bollie.... Started with some splittering and hesitation and grew to what it is now.... It seems it is running only on cylinder 3 and 4. I have replaced: distributor cap, leads, plugs, rotor. I even had a Chinese carb on here before it happened since the float in ...

Morning all, been an extremely long time since I've been on this forum :silent:

I'm hoping someone out there can help me with a float for my 4y Nikki carburettor.

The current one broke in the bowl and of course the stealers don't seem to have any spares for these old vehicles.

When you have the head off, make sure to check that the head and block mating surfaces are level and flat. Use a steel rule across the surface and check for gaps. You can get solid core lead at Gemini in JHB. They tend not to need replacement as often as carbon or graphite core leads because the inner doesnt crack due to the heat.
