Die Spitronics doen nog goed so ver di engine loop baie glad en egalig nou, da is ma so n paar verstellings om te doen. Elke conversion het maar sy eie groei pyne en myne het nog baie, so ver is ek baie tevrede et die 2.7

Engine is running well got lots of power, will have to get used to it. Big step up from the 3ct that I had in before.
Ian from George Spitronics was very helpful with advice on the conversion. The engine is just smoking a lot due to the diesel oil and carbon still in the exhaust.

Confirmed now that the Bosch relays are wired differently.

Ok great I am in Oudtshoorn. I have installed all the wiring carefully following the instructions that Ian from George gave me. Got a local Guy that does Spits installations to hook up his PC to help me set the Computer mapping up. Engine was running great for a while and then just cut out suddenly....

Got my 3rz now from Cape Town. there is no wiring on the engine so i hope Spitronics will do the job. i am off to George tomorrow to go see the guys of Spitronics. i also need a few spares to complete the engine.

Dit lyk my da is ni veel mense wat van di 3ct engines gebruik ni. Dit is regtigwaar n baie nice engine. Het so om en by 150 000km gedun met dit. Het groei pyne gehad met warm word ma dit als uitgesort teen di tyd. Dit loop baie stil vir n diesel en is lyk my di ligste op brandstof van al di ombouing...

Het bki gelees van dit op di forum en lyk my di Ford is ook ma lekke dors. Dan bly ek ma by die 3ct en sit intercooler op.

Ek sien di is n ou post ma sal graag wil weet hu het di turbo gedoen en wat is gemiddelde brandstof verbruik.

Hi da ek is nog nuut hi. Het ju engine distributor of coils? Het op n ander forum gelees van n Australier met di selle probleem, hy het nuwe coils opgesit en problem was opgelos. Die kontakte op di ou coils was geroes en het ni genoeg spark gegee ni.

Need as little as 5psi boost. Have a 3ct already in my bakkie that went. Difficult to get spares for it so i can use its turbo.

Will the 3ct turbo be enough for low boost on the 3rz. On simular forums a significant gain in torque can be gained by adding an low boost turbo or supercharger to a standard 3rz engine. No added fuel consumption to be gained as long as long as u dont add weight to your right foot due to an adrenile...
