Re: Body mounting bushes? (was never the problem)

So for the fifth time work was done to the driveshaft. 3 times repair and 2 times rebuild. High spots on a brake drum caused a vibration and I thought it was the driveshaft, after taking the driveshaft in I was told that the slipyolk was worn and needed replacing (1st rebuild) +- a year ago. So afte...

When its cold weather or has 4 occupants it drives like a dream. When its warm weather or when ive been driving for more that half an hour its starts to drive like rubbish. I can keep it on the road no worries, When cold it feels like a brand new vehicle, When warm it feels like a old worn out plaas bakkie.

Re: KZTE felt sluggish...This is what i found in the intake and need help.

Re: KZTE felt sluggish...This is what i found in the intake and need help.

Rede hoekom ek catch can gaan insit.

you can use throttle body cleaner spray to clean the areas of the piping which have sensors. for the normal pipe pieces you can use acetone. Ek sal dit probeer. Dink julle daar is sensors binne in die intake manifold? Ek sal net weer moet gaan kyk.

AFAIK Kz's don't have EGR's. That bit of oil is not really a concern. There are quite a few tips and trick on this forum to improve Kz performance. Search for 'Airbox mod', Freeflow exhaust and intercooler and Unichip. What does the butterfly valve do? For me it is a concern...I'm no mechi but a in...

Have you checked the intercooler? Build up there would probably be a greater concern than what you've found.

KZTE felt sluggish...This is what i found in the intake and need help.

Good day gents I compared my KZ with a friends KZ and mine felt sluggish. Curiosity got the best of me and i removed the the pipe between the turbo and what i believe is the EGR valve. Have you checked all the fuses? Could be that a fuse blew with the replacement of the battery. Could even just be a poor connection being made at the fuse box. Bearing outer is stewig in plek.
