Re: Sfa hilux 4x4 diff shim plates
Thanx for the info. Long story short. Went to toyota, ordered the seals and packing. Waited 3 days. Paid R3500 for the 2 knuckle gaskets with the felt and also the extra set with the shim plates. Bearings got from border bearings in cambridge. Only R1200. Stripped the driver wheel, was amazed how th...

Re: How to drill hole in fuel tank...
Update... went and bought another pump... when i stripped the old one i noticed there was muck stuck there. Cleaned it out. Put it back and now she runs better than ever before. Will keep other pump as a spare as i only paid 600 for it from a connection. Also noticed my temperature has dropped quite...

Re: How to drill hole in fuel tank...
Mmm.... i did not check if its blocked. Wasnt sure what its for. So must be blocked if it keeps so much pressure.
And also did not check the flow from the elbow... assumed it would be fine as i forced the fuel pipe on it

How to drill hole in fuel tank...
Good day all... Ive recently learned that my electric fuel pump has a low pressure suction action which in turn has made my pump make a hell of a noise when i switch it on... These pumps battle to suck up out of the tank and and hence the problem... Ive done some research and heres what ive done.. R...

Will the ratios meet up with the current front diff then??? I currently got the import diff. Should or can i swop it for the kz diffs or will i lo...

Re: Best clutch to use on Lexus v8
Update.... Saw the chap... reckons my box is packing up. Apparantly turbotoys were selling bellhousings which wernt skimed properly. Hence my 4th gear jumps out which runs on the main output shaft from motor. Lots of play on right front wheel where the shims were missing. Need full bearing set.... a...

Sometimes wonder if its not just easier and less p.t to just install ford v6. No ecu problems.... 2 cams not 4. Less valves less fuel consumption... etc etc.... sigh

Sfa hilux 4x4 diff shim plates
Hi all. Ive inspected my front diff the other day and noticed where the steering arm bolts ontop of the diff theres a gap. Mate told me there must be shim plates in there. If true where can i get. And would it have created any damage till now? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170304/e743f45b92bc56...
