Seems like the engine check light should be on with those errors. Are the errors logged in the history? Issue(s) might have been fixed but error codes not cleared.

I would ask local dealer to have a look first.

Have you every fully understood why the frames crack? Is it a general issue or specific to people who have fitted everything including the kitchen sink to the back of their bakkie. On my SR they just drilled holes into the bak and fitted the canopy. But the models with smooth exterior requires special brackets fitted to the inside of the load bin

Fred, I would guess that of the press switch is not properly deactivated - not pressed in deep enough. Or some loose wiring connector at the switch. Also have a look at the bonnet switch. Ask for the SR model (the mining spec) as opposed to the SRX. Same bakkie but with less stuff that can break or fall off. Does have 7 airbags instead of the 3 of the SRX.

You can always look for a decent 3.0D4D. Lots of them around. The engine will be a huge upgrade from the 2.5D4D.
But saying that, I recently upgraded from a 2.5D4D to a 2.4GD6 and engine wise that is big jump. Both single-cab 4x4.

One thing I have found in dealing with such things is to ask the person (in a nice way making them feel important) what the rule is and how you should apply it to your situation.

One negative of having the battery near the engine is that it gets really hot in summer. Not good for the battery. Many DC-DC chargers also stop charging over 50 degrees. Eerste ding wat ek sal doen is om Unichip uit te haal en te kyk of dit nog gebeur. Net as 'n eerste ding om te elimineer.
My injectors het opgepak wat veroorsaak dat ek in limp mode in gaan. Al die injectors is oorgedoen en saak uitgesorteer.

Dit is net vrek duur om injectors te laat toets

My bonnet sensor caused my alarm to trigger. Not pressing in deep enough. I stuck a piece of rubber to the bonnet in order for the switch to be fully pressed. Problem sorted.
My alarm sensor is located in the engine bay. But suspect yours will be different. Maybe look at fiches.

The standard 16" 2.5 steel rim is a 6J. Assume 15" might be similar. A narrow rim. Fitting wider (or to wide) tires will cause it to bulge. The biggest problem with the 2.5 engine (even more so if you have the lower spec version of the 2.5) is that it has not power/torque at very low revs....

Not a KZTE but my aircon drainage pipe got disconnected causing the passenger carpet to be wet. I checked that it wasn't blocked and cable-tied it back on

Why don't you fix the mechanical issues first? Important to least important in that order. Cosmetics can follow after that. If your vehicle is mechanically sound then at least it will be more reliable. Scratches and dents after all don't change the way the vehicle drives. If only changes how we feel...

In SA we only have the 3.0D4D Raider and the 2.5D4D SRX. Other models will be for other countries.
The SRX is more spartan than the Raider. Interior, wheels (both rim and wheel size). But there is also engine differences eg. intercooler, turbo etc between the models.

You will struggle to find a Raider for 200k. In fact you will struggle to find a SRX for 200k. Unless it has a lot of km's on the clock. I got my exhaust from Noise Boys. It has only the box at the back. I asked for one that makes the same sound as orginal. Slightly noisier but not much. Most certainly not like a free low.

Terry, you will be suprised how little space there is in the DC Hilux. If your 105 don't have enough space then the Hilux certainly won't have enough.
But it will be a lot cheaper to run than the Cruiser.

Maybe revisit how you pack the 105 and what you take with
