Since I had the Spitronics on my truck I can now see what my coolant is doing, I installed a android pad with RealDash My Lexus Hilux 83-93c in SA temps.

Not yet, I want to get through to power flow to get them to look at the exhaust first, I did try and get hold of the guys in kempton park RBTS, will try and get round to it early April...

They are indeed tough, much stronger that the local GearMax one. Refurbishing is the better option, changing the ratios means changing the front diff as well - the front and rear diff portions (3rd members) are interchangeable, a nice option to have if you have diff trouble out in the styx. That looks like a import diff which is a very strong diff so you can normally have it re-conned or you can have a look at putting the d4d center portions in for better ratio. The 3lit Cresida box should be good. Those straight 6's developed a lot of torque and the 1UZ is not far off so the box should be able to handle it. I would say that you shouldn't floor it, especially in 4th and 5th to save the box and then also not to let it labour in 5th when climbing hills or wh...

As far as i'm aware it has the Toyota one, using the 3.0 Cressida manual Gear box.. Had no issues so far.. :)..
Tried to get hold of the Guys that did the conversion..

Have a 1990 Hilux SFA with 1UZ-FE 4.0L V8 Lexus
Iron Man Suspension (100 mm Lift)
