Five years later...
Can we gather some more high mileage 3.0 D4D data from owners?
I have a 2010 with 235 000km on the clock.
Want to determine whether I keep it for another 250 000km, or whether its time to look over the fence.

I agree, a diesel not built for pushing at high revs continuously.
I am not bothered about recovering my upgrade costs, its more a question of whether to invest in this particular higher mileage Hilux.

3.0 D4D - Any stats on high mileage done by members?
Hello Hiluxers, I own a 2010 3.0 D4D DC with 235 000km on the clock. Auto, 4x4. Generally speaking, I love the bakkie. Have not had occasion to do any challenging 4x4 trails with it, and have not tested it on a dune. Will be undertaking a Namibia trip in May, 5 day dune trip, Van Zyls etc. What is t...
