I found the filler plug, it is on the top/left hand side, but a 24 mm socket or spanner does not do the job Toyota SA said it's a special tool to loosen the plug. I feel like loosening the bolt, my way, but then i need to replace it. Just afraid I might brake something somewhere. Even the gearbox co...

Cause was "O" ring or gasket did not seal well enough - I suppose there was a slight "sweating" and someone try to tighten the bolts, in result of messing up the gasket.

I went to Langebaan over the weekend and filled up. Range meter on dash shows "0" Consumption and all other info working great. What or where can I look? To answer your question, yes, mine did the same than yours. Surely not the most accurate notification on the Hilux I don't trust it anym...

Good day Not sure what you call it but my Hilux 3.0 D4D "top cover" or Head cover is sweating oil so I want to replace the gasket or seal. Is it something I can do myself? (Not a mechanic but D.I.Y outjie) Must i remove the inter cooler? Can anything go wrong with disconnecting diesel pipe...
