I agree 10.5 Km/lt is very good as I say I only get 9.5 Km/Lt and that is driving very cairfully and usualy slower than the speedlimit.

Hi there tell me are you talking about lt/100 km or km/lt, I am getting about 10.5 lt/100 km and I also drive no faster than the speed limit or just below.

The Fact that you replaced the roof rails is defenately helping but the roof limit is usually not determined by the Rails you have on but rather by the ability of the roof supporting a load, The roof rack is another factor that you must keep in mind.
