Ek het nou uit eindelik die rooftop tent gekry en op gesit. :thumbup: Dit sal die laaste ding wees wat bykom op die wa. verder sal daar seker net hier en daar klein verbeteringe gedoen word soos ons aangaan.

The dealer principal has actually told me from day 1 to just pay and dont fight them! So no help from DP! Workshop manager and Foreman have really been helpfull but this issue is with Toyota SA now! They are willing to do all the brake tests but i must fix the bakkie first, so i said no they fix it...

1. Slide vir my ammo kratte agter in
2. Slide bo die yskas vir potte en sulke dinge
3. 2 ALKO stabiliser jacks
4. moet nog plek maak om sonpaneel en tavel te stoor
5. En laaste die rooftop tent.

So I have made a bracket to mount the awning to my trailer, painted it (poorly as I am the worst painter ever). And fitted. Now to get the canvas done :thumbup:

I should have opted for stainless steel instead of mild steel.

So ek was weer aan die gang gewees die naweek, het die stoof in gesit. Ongelukkig moes ek dit hier in die middel van die blad gesit het sodat die deur kan toe maak. Maar tog dink ek dit sal reg werk.

Ek het ook so hier en daar 'n paar dingetjies gedoen.

Nou net 'n stuk alu kry vir onder die yskas en daan die water pype in sit daan is die laai klaar, nog net 2 om te doen vir agter vir al die ammo kratte :thumbup:

Ek het toe die naweek so te se al die "body werk" klaar gekry, moet nou net die slotte bitjie stel en so paar klein dingetjies.

Volgende moet ek begin werk op die slide vir die yskas en die 2 slides vir agter, vir nou gaan ek 'n boks buig vir die kombuis area en nog 'n boks vir die geyser.

So, I have made quite a bit of process, frame is complete, the alu sheets has arrived, cut to size (baie duur :shock2: ).

I had the trailer itself rubberized, water tank is in place. Hoping I can make good progress this weekend, I have just about all the material to finish the build. :thumbup:

Ek het probeer om laas naweek die laaste staal werk klaar te maak, maar ek het swak beplan en nie genoeg materiaal gehaad nei. :crazy:

Ek het by 4x4direct 'n draai gemaak en al die gas struts en al die dinge gekry, die slotte het ek by Furnlock gekoop. Dinge het baie duur geword. :shock2:

The plan is to got early August. So he rain shouldn't be a problem. I think 2 maybe 3 nights will be good. If you have all the kit to take with you. The only facilities there is a long drop, so a shower and pottie is a must. Unfortunately we stayed only one night. And we had a dust storm. So no pic...
