my mikem blades and torsion bars are fairly new. the shocks are much older. I can get HDPS for R1650 a shock, OME is R2550 a shock.
than why I am asking. is OME that much better if yes then I get OME again, or are we just paying for the brand name

Hi Hans,

what did Hoppy say about blanking the EGR. I am also interested in doing it as my KZTE has started getting a lot heavier on diesel, one of the symptoms of a blocked egr.

The bert is to lock the hubs and stay in 2H, that way the front diff turns and everything gets lubed up nicely, but the front propshaft is not connected to the gearbox so theres no chance of damage, if you drive in 4x4 with hubs unlocked, there is a chance that the freewheeling hubs could get damage...

I have seen plenty 02 kzte recently for R130-140K so not to bad if all is included also nice lowish milage, however go find a fully rigged 2700i they go for 20-30k less than the kztes, its going to take a very long time to make that up in extra fuel.

on the tyre side, the kzte came out with 30x9.5, without a suspension 31's rub badly.
the SAC chip sits on top of the ECU behind the cubby hole(cubby hole clips out to access it)
I have precisely that model KZ with the SAC so if you want to compare come and give mine a test drive.

I drive a KZTE and my friend a 2.7 if we go away together, similarly loaded, driving in convoy, he gets 6.5-7.5km/l I get between 8 and 9km/l and anywhere above 120 I get max 8km/l

your biggest advantage with 10ppm is there will be much less soot build-up in your engine oil. its also better for the environment and rubber seals in the fuel system. also the lower sulphur stuff tends to be cleaner than 500ppm. garages are more likely to put paraffin in 500ppm than 50 or 10ppm. th...
